Betsy who?

Just happened to see this on Republican candidate for 71st district Rep Steve Haring's A-1 campaign finance disclosure form ($500+ 30 days prior to election) dated 10-19-06

I never knew you could get that kind of insurance. Doesn't say much for Betsy though.

(for the humor impaired, this is a "joke". No offense is meant to anyone by it. )

You are a sexist pig. Do you think women have the right to vote?

Given you have never run a business before you might not understand that some employeers provide insurance to themselves and their employees. Yeeeeesh!

What kind of women hatter are you? Do you think women are not capable of working?

Calm down there Chip.

I've never been a woman hatter. I've got horrible taste in chapeaus.

Where you're getting all that other crap is beyond me and everyone else. Nice try.

so ANON 31/10/06 13:43 - I take it that you are stating that because Steve "red herring" Haring quit his job to campaign full time, that his campaign is now paying for Steve Haring's own health care.

Isn't that ironic?

Haring is against giving all children in Illinois health insurance - but he grabs it up for himnself at his campaign donor's expense. And those campaign donors are largely insurance companies themselves. Talk about the blind leadning the blind.

The real story is the $161,649 in cash that Steve has raked in from Tom Cross and House Republican leadership.

If Barb Suehl's $16,000 was supposed to "buy" Boland, what the hell do people think ten times that amount of money coming from Chicago Suburban interests is going to do to the representation of this District if Steve gets the voter's nod (shudder!)

I'm guessing Haring is against giving all kids health insurance because he knows the state can't pay for it. That was my question when Blago proposed that idea. We've also got to pay for pre-school for all kids, too. Where's the money to come from?

Phil Hare has better legs than Zinga? Wow.
