"Headusher" (and clones) Comment of the Day
It would take hours to put all the fabulous comments of HeadUsher and all his other pseudonyms together in one place. Someday I hope to accomplish it, but until then, I figured I'd inaugurate the (drumroll please) "Headusher Post of the Day".
Here I'll select a choice morsel of his wisdom from the vault and post it for your enjoyment on a semi-daily basis. Enjoy!
For our first installment, it seems fitting to feature the first post under the now infamous name "HeadUsher" No doubt he'd posted comments before this anonymously, but after I required commenters to register, he dutifully did so and the "HeadUsher" we know and love emerged with this....
The last thing Boland wants is to be remembered as, "the only politican in Illinois' history to get beat by Denny and Mike Jacobs."
If I was Mike Boland, I would accept young Mike Jacobs' offer and bury the political hatchet. If not, old Mike Boland may find that "hatchet" stuck in his skull!
Boland should grow-up, control his anger, and learn to work with others.

And a bonus comment for opening day....
Cpl. Shamus Ahern is Dennis Ahern's younger brother.
A group of political activist driven by their disapointment with Mike Boland are encouraging Cpl. Ahern's close friend, United State Marine Cpl. Tim Wright of Fulton, to enter the primary against Boland.
The group is dismayed by Boland's constant misuse of state tax dollars. The group complain that Boland is running around the state holding a series of endless press conferences, instead of finding a new tenant for the closed Case I.H. Plant, or scuring the money he promised to open the shuttered Thompson Prision.
In addition the group charged Boland with abusing tax dollars by sending news clippings to residents who reside outside the 71st District.
I for one, agree with the Cpl. Wright and encourage him to enter the race, as Boland now appears highly vunerable to a credible primary challeng. For it's getting harder and harder to defend Mike Boland's frivilous use of our tax dollars.
If only Mike Boland would do the job, we elected him to do in the first place!

I think it is great that mike Jacobs and Mike Boland have burried the hatchet on the long time fued that Denny and Boland had. These two men have worked hard together to bring WIU to the QC. They are both working on the important issue of Ethanol for our environment and the good of the farmers. These men are both working to open Thomson prison. This is one of the best accomplishments that Mike Jacobs has had, putting old time family dissagreaments aside for the good of the 36th district.
I heard that Rumler worked for Boland. Does anyone know if this is true?
Paul Rumler was an unpaid volunteer intern in Boland's legislative office in 1998.
The real question to ask, however, is why Rumler isn't mentioning that fact in his bio?
