HAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh geeze, I'm laughing my ass off! Thanks, I needed that.
Thank God.... John and Don don't have their parties on the same night this year, whew... I was getting tired of driving to both the last couple of years held on the same night....can Mike Jacobs and Porter McNeil and the rest of the young democrats who want peace in our party finally be getting thru to the old timers... I hope so.
With the exception of those seeking public offices and John Gianlis's new freinds he has gotten state patronage jobs for, his party gets smaller every year.
Anon- sorry to burst your bubble but I doubt that John G will ever talk to Don J in this lifetime.......
Good catch Rawk... I don't know how that got in there. It's now corrected.
Please let me know of any errors you spot in the future by e-mail. I appreciate it.
Why the feud between John G & Don J?
If it weren't for feuds, there wouldn't be a Rock Island County Democratic party. It's the glue that holds it together.
John Gianulis appointed both Mike Jacobs and Pat Verschoore. With the advise and consent of Lane Evans!
John's purse strings were pulled tight on the two Dem appointments of Vershoore and Jacobs- and it was the Jacobs clan who told him what and how far to go - whom to appoint and what to do about it all..... He had to follow their instructions or loose what little he has left in this life.
So sad.....too bad - the people got cheated.
CLAN - nice word. Surprised you don't spell it with a K! I have known most of the Jacobs family for most of my life and have never known them to be the way they are portrayed on this blog.
The word "clan" isn't exactly derrogatory when used to describe a family.
And speaking for myself, having met the Jacobs and from what I know of them, they're all fine people as individuals who love their kids and care about those in need, enjoy life and would make fine neighbors.
But of course, as the saying goes, it's nothing personal, it's just politics.
As politics at it's base is all about who gets what, it's fair game to question any politicians actions and whose interests he serves.
anybody see Rumler at Lanes Party? The great new young candidate? I did not.
Wonder if he was invited? That might have something to do with it, ya think? Who knows?
What other candidates and pols were there?
