Judge shares The Dope's view on Kolb verdict

As John Beydler notes, former judge John Donald O'Shea has written an opinion piece for the Dispatch/Arguse which lays out essentially my view on the issue of the Kolb verdict, though much more eloquently, needless to say.

Though my arguments were irrationally labeled as "fervent support" for the hold-out juror in the case, and it was suggested that I had practically committed the crime myself for holding my view that there was no reason to form a lynch mob just yet, it's nice to see that someone who knows what he's talking about agrees with me on this issue.

Does anyone else think that young Jeff Terronez has gotten a pass from the press and everyone else for not putting the football into the endzone?

And somehow the "internet" thing is going to be solved this time too? What the heck do you mean??

Does the County have enough $ to lock up the jury in a hotel?? Doubt it.

We have had big murder trials before this one and they went up or down - never hung jury... This is the first I remember on such a big trial. O'Shea didn't say which trials he remembered but the couldn't have been very sexy because the papers ignored them.
