Day Tripper
Spring has sprung and the weather's been gorgeous, for the most part. So thoughts turn to getting the heck out of Dodge. It's a great time to take a little day trip or over-nighter.
So tell us, what's your favorite place or places to go within a roughly 150 mile radius or a couple hours of the Quad Cities?

Won't be a "secret destination" if we tell you. Geez.
But what if we promise not to tell anyone else? It's just between us friends, after all.
I have come within a whisker of taking a drive to eat at the Candlelight. Something came up at the last moment and I had to scratch the plan. I'll get there yet though. It sounds great.
