Let's all vote for the party of fiscal responsibility!

Hang on to your hats boys and girls, it's gonna be a bumpy ride. Don't look now, but the "grownups" in the Republican administration have looted your country wnile they had you screaming about whether gays should get married and obsessing on Brittany Spears, and you didn't bat an eye.
WELLINGTON: The current financial crisis is the worst the world has seen since the Great Depression of the 1930s and the US Federal Reserve move to cut interest rates will not make much difference, the Nobel Prize winning economist Joseph Stiglitz said on Wednesday.

"It will have some impact - it will do a little bit to stem the blood - but it's not addressing the fundamental problems underlying the collapse of the financial sector," Joseph said.

Interesting that for someone so non-agenda driven as you claim to be - your most recent posts all seem to take a very anti-Republican twist (as your posts have for most of the last 2-years).

It's ok to admit that you are agenda-driven, as everyone already understands this.

Listen Mowen,

Just what the hell is it with your love for the term "agenda", which you've now augmented with "agenda-driven". What the hell are you trying to get at with all your loaded words you ape from Limbaugh and others?

Are you trying to somehow expose me as being a Democrat or a liberal?

Are you insane?

"Agenda-driven"?

And of course, YOU have no "agenda" at all.

A guy who frenetically spends his life online spouting rigid right wing ideological views, but it's ME that has a (horrors) "agenda"?
Is that what you're driving at?

What a joke.

I've asked you before and you couldn't answer, so I'll ask again.

Just what exactly is this "agenda" you're so sure I have?

I'd like to know, since I've never been aware of any.

If you have nothing to offer but attempts at harrassment, then just go away.

Maybe "Nowin" should read The American Conservative at www.amconmag.com/ and try to figure out the agenda of Pat Buchanan and Company. I doubt he'd agree with them either.

What agenda do you have, gosh I don't know. Your agenda seems to be nothing more than your unbelievable hatred of the current Administration.

Are they perfect - of course not! But my goodness, you are consumed with hatred.

No one person, no Administration can be as bad as you suggest.

Your agenda apears to be as simple as to provide the company line and be a liberal apologist. You are as bad as Rush Limbaugh, but you know, even Rush speaks out against McCain not being as Conservative as he'd like. I can't think of once when yyou have spoken out against anything that a Democrat/ Liberal has done or said.

That, my friend, is an agenda. It is silly, it is ugly and it makes you look extremely foolish.

(I since you have brought it up, yes, am a Conservative. I believe in the terrible conservative values of personal freedom, personal responsibility, limited taxes on all and the free-market system. However, I at least have my own mind and am critical on Republican issues of (lack of) fiscal responsibility, I will admit when someone makes a moral/ ethical mistake, etc. - you tend to look the other way when liberals do these things...)

No Mowen, you're a pompous gasbag who thinks he knows it all.

You have nothing to say at all except to point out that I'm (gasp) progressive/liberal/Democratic, take your pick.

I don't have ny "agenda" and to say so is only yet another stupid attempt on your part to pidgeon-hole me.

You can't seem to function unless you place an opponent into one of your endless supply of neat little and ridiculously inaccurate boxes.

All you want to do is try to dismiss everything I say simply because of my point of view and my political beliefs. That's utter bull.

The fact remains that I'm more often than not entirely accurate and my views are every bit if not more legitimate and rational than your often times delusional adherance to conservative dogma and goofy "theories" that have been proven to be failures over and over and over again.

Has ANYTHING gotten better in this country since the Republicans took it over? Anything at all?

What's gotten worse? There simply isn't enough space here to even scratch the surface of that subject.

And you touched on your main problem. It's quite revealing actually.

You state that no administration can be -that- bad.

I've long realized that people like yourself who constantly try to ignore, defend, or otherwise rationalize the horrible, disasterous, incompetent, and yes, immoral actions of this administration, often by simply attacking anyone who calls a spade a spade, suffer from a form of mental disfunction.

You were SOOOOO sure that the rise of Republicans to total control over the entire government would solve a lot of problems and make things so much better.

But they've been a failure since day one. All the weird theories have been trotted out and enacted, the privatization, the bastardization of religion with government, the utter secrecy, the rampant militarism, the intolerance, the division, the utterly senseless attempt to pretend that God is a Republican and all the rest.

Then the economic rape of the country. Ever wonder what the country would be like if Republicans were able to do whatever they wanted?

Well welcome to it, because you're living in it.

Think this economy is great? Think letting everyone who possesses the level of greed and nerve to grab it to essentially be handed blank checks from the treasury was a great idea?

Hope your grandkids come back to kick you in the ass for supporting it all.

But you've confirmed what I've long concluded about someone like yourself.

You're simply in deep denial.

Period.

You thought these crooks and liars were God's own candidates, and your need to follow authority lead you to be willing to follow them to hell and never question a thing, all the while holding anyone who did in utter contempt.

It's been a long battle to try to deny what you see and know to be true. Even someone who avoids the truth like the plague can't avoid it any longer.

Here's the ugly truth that you're simply not emotionally or mentally able to accept.

YES, VIRGINIA, an administration CAN be just as bad as this one seems.

Not only that, they're likly worse, as 95% of their actions are buried in secrecy and all records destroyed.

And I might add that it's clear you don't read this blog at all, despite the fact you have no hesitation to spout judgments about it.

If you think I've never said anything negative about a democrat, go ask someone who actually reads the blog. I think they'll laugh at you.

You're a joke Mowen.

Go back, see if you can mount a sensible comment without resorting to your usual dishonest little antics.
