Yea...he's gonna be in Davenport. I'm not sure if it's safe to let him cross the bridge or not though.

Ah yes, right-wing humor. Always fresh.

Telling the same joke for 37 years and still thinking it's witty.

Ever think of getting some new material?

Hey anon, how's he gonna get to Davenport if he doesn't start from Illinois and cross the bridge. Is he gonna land at that cornfield in Mt. Joy or will we have to plant a seed and wait 5 months for him to show up.

TID, anon's joke is funny, even if it's old. I know we're not going to let him drive himself across the bridge.

Ever think of what kind of scum would drive a girl off a bridge and leave her to die without trying to get any help or even notifying the authorities?

If he's stumping for Phil Hare, why is he doing it in Davenport? He can't make an appearance in the District that Hare's wanting to represent?

Demogorilla, you're right about a family that has had more heartbreak and tragedy than most families in a lifetime. But Ted as a role model? Leaves a girl to die, gets drunk with a nephew who alledgedly rapes someone? Great role model!

BH, it's really not surprising that a bigfoot coming to the area would appear on one side of the river and try to help all the area candidates.

Perhaps the visit was coordinated by Braley or Culver and Phil just kind of got invited along.

Also, this is just the public event. Often there are other private events held in conjunction with an appearance.

So the dems want us to believe Hastert is the devil, yet they parade "The Swimmer" out for their candidates? How can anyone think this guy is a decent human being?

Republican or Democrat, nobody with a soul would leave a girl to die, but Ted Kennedey did. Shame on the Quad Cities Dems for embracing him.

There is no private reception with Phil Hare on this side. He is a tag along.

TID, despite my glib comments on TK, it's a big deal that he's coming here for a visit.

And you deserve the credit for getting the story posted first!

Once again, you lead the way.

Kudos, TID!

Braley wont be at the event in D-port. It is a Hare/Culver event.

Nico,
That lame joke just keeps getting lamer after 37 years and the fact that it's already been made here at least twice. Really original.

And.... if you'd used your little bean, you'd have realized that because Kennedy is appearing in Davenport, he'll not only have to cross the bridge, but do it twice.

So much for your joke.
