Obama hits the Quads this Saturday
Sen. Barack Obama will be making a return trip to Iowa to stump for 1st District candidate Bruce Braley after having appeared at Sen. Tom Harkin's annual Steak Fry a week ago, and he'll also be making an appearance in the Illinois Quad Cities in support of Phil Hare's congressional campaign.
As reported by alert readers, Obama is to make a stop at the Moline Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 25 at 4600 Blackhawk Road in Rock Island, IL before continuing on to Iowa for Braley.
Obama is scheduled to appear from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and tickets are a very reasonable $35.00.
The Hare office is taking RSVPs. Call Louis at 788-HARE, or you can buy a ticket at the door.

I'm yet to hear anything from the Braley folks about where/when he'll be in Iowa. Braley's website shows nothing mentioning this. Anyone happen to know where he'll be in Iowa?
I think this appearance is more about Obama than Hare.
He'll be in Davenport on Saturday, free of charge:

Time: 2pm - 3:30pm
Eisenhower Elementary School, 2827 Jersey Ridge Rd.
Everything is all about Obama.
Tiz, thanks for finding that and passing it along. I'd wager that that event will be swamped.
