I don't believe that you had to go the rout of the right to life people. Take this picture down. You are disgusting using this human being for your own good. Exploit someone else.

My own good? You must be nuts.

Sorry if you don't like seeing the results of the war you're paying for and likely supporting.

I know several kids who have been over there and they will never be the same. We all know how horrible war is but the photo is disturbing to see.

I was one of the few that was against the war from the get go. It is amazing how many people have changed there minds since the begining. The image above is the exploitation of a helpless burnt bombed baby. Don't you think this child has suffered enough. For his and your good please take this photo down.

I wanted to say that I agree with the Dope about freedom. This imposing ones rights on others is not freedom.

This poor child is not being "exploited" nor harmed.

It's your consciences which are giving you the problems, not the picture.

I am not "using" the picture for my own good. Again, what possible good could it give me.

The only good that could come of it is if it caused people who see it to stop and realize that this poor kid, someone's child, and thousands upon thousands of other lives are being snuffed out and mangled for the sake of George Bush's political fortune.

If it disturbs you, then perhaps you'll make the connection between this and the fact that you're paying for it and supporting it and saddling generations to come with it's cost, both financially and with the instablility it's caused in the region.

Take your disgust and direct it where it belongs. And that's not on the person who published it.

This photo is beyond the pale. Nobody should use a poor defenseless child to propell their own twisted view of politcs. Sad, realy, really sad. I feel sorry for you DOPE. You seem to be losing it!

Twisted is using a poor, defenseless child as "collateral damage" in a bullshit war.

People who support this war and people who have stood silent about this war should have to look at that picture EVERY SINGLE DAY. This includes all of the Democrats who gave chimp a free pass at this.

And if you think that picture is bad you should see some of the stuff that ends up on the evening news overseas. Even in Europe they're much less squeamish about this sort of thing. Maybe because of this and having had wars in their backyard for so long they're not as willing to have the wool pulled over their eyes as we are.

Tiz, Maybe you should go oversees and see these pictures if it makes you feel so good. I am sure that you are like most people who were hugging firemen and wanting us to blow everyone up at the time. I bet you even wanted to hug Guliani at the time. I on the other hand have been against the war from the begining. I think the picture was offensive and its use was demeaning to the young child that didn't want to be bombed or to be used by the news media.

Anon above..

Forgive me for stepping in here, but I simply don't get your way of thinking at all.

First of all, this has nothing to do with how someone felt after 9-11.

IRAQ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9-11, OK??

What part of that don't you understand?

What the hell does Rudy Giulianni have to do with this child? What the hell does the emotion you felt after 9-11 have to do with this child? And worse, how in the HELL does any of that justify even putting this child, or any other man or woman in the position of getting bombed, maimed, and killed?

What the hell are you trying to say?

And you know what? I don't think this anonymous child is too worried about being "exploited".

And I think that if their face was in one piece and they could speak, they'd tell you to shut the hell up, and that if their picture helped do anything to stop the needless and unjustified carnage and death that YOU are paying for, then they'd be happy.

I don't think they'd see things your rather curious way. Sorry.

Dope if you believe that, I have some land in New Orleans you might be interested in. Yes, if the world trade center wouldn't have gotten bombed we wouldn't be in Iraq now. You are dead wrong on this. Second, I am glad that you know how this young child feels. Your powers never cease to amaze. You know that Americans and probably you to were ready to strike at the drop of the hat. Just the mention of weapons of mass destruction and the hint of a tie to the world trade bombing were enough to get people ready for war. You know that most Americans wanted the war. If you ask those people today they will say they were never for the war. Your ralley cry is way late on this one. Wait for the tide to change and then pile on. I have been reading this for over a year and hear you are being very timely. Great job getting out front on issues. You are what is wrong with America. Always on the pile on end. Try and get on the front of something you johny come lately.

You are clueless and have obviously not been reading this blog for long. Either that you you just don't pay attention. That seems obvious from your ridiculous arguments and statements.

Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11, and NO I wasn't all frothing at the mouth to invade a country based on a bunch of bullshit. It was apparent to anyone who was paying attention that reports out of Iraq from inspection teams didn't warrent a wholesale invasion and I've thought it was a horrid mistake ever since Bush suddenly changed course and drove us into a never-ending quagmire in Iraq.

Don't assume I was some mindless moron like yourself who is so easily deceived and easily swayed by simply thumping your chest and changing USA! USA! And being a leming who gladly hates whatever group of people your government tells you to hate, even if you have no clue why.

But thank the lord the country is crawling with uninformed idiots like yourself, or else George Bush and anyone else wouldn't be able to stampede us into a war by filling your head with a pack of lies.

They were determined to invade Iraq since before he even got into office and this has been documented by several sources, including his former treasury secretary... not exactly a wild liberal.

So pull your head out, pay attention, and don't get pissy just because others saw through this bullshit a long time ago and you were played for a sucker and fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

Next time, don't fall for everything you're told by a politician and fox news.

If it wasn't for willing dupes like you, we'd never BE in these messes.
