School superintendent Lee gets some love from the board
Moline-Coal Valley school district superintendent Cal Lee will earn a base salary of about $153,000 this year under a new contract he recently signed with the district.
The five-year contract includes a raise of about $10,000, new cell phone benefits and two years of retirement credit for previous employment at a Catholic school. The contract was negotiated last month.
"We're trying to bring him up to average (salary), even though he far exceeds an average superintendent," said school board president Karen Buchanan.
Mr. Lee noted that the Moline-Coal Valley school district is part of the Large Unit District Association (LUDA), an organization of the superintendents and school boards of the 54 largest pre-kindergarten through grade 12 school districts in Illinois. Together, LUDA districts educate almost half of all elementary and secondary students in the state.
"We always stay at the average or below the average" salary on LUDA's list, he said.

Your tax dollars hard at work....
It would be interesting to see how much all the administrators both individual and collectively earn in salary in that huge Allendale building. Then how much do we pay in utilities and maintenance for the facility to operate?
Dope do you know the info or how to get it??
