Until we meat again

As the price of meat continues to go up and the quality continues to go down and down, it's getting tough to find a good cut of meat that isn't... tough.

If any of you are confirmed meat lovers, this is the place to get your meat. Of course, you may have to take out a second mortgage in order to afford it, but hey, quality doesn't come cheap.

By the way, if you, like many, are already wondering just what you could get the blogger who has everything for Christmas this year, might I suggest a 12lb. dry-aged Wagyu boned and tied (sounds kinda kinky) rib roast? At only $548.98 ($45.75/lb), it's a steal.

But locally, any fellow carnivores out there have an opinion on where you can buy the very best meats, steaks, roasts, etc?

I'll have to exclude Jerry's Market in Moline, as they sell USDA Prime aged beef. You can't beat their meat.

But other than Jerry's, what store, supermarket, or butcher's shop in the area from your experience has the best quality meats? Any fellow meat-heads out there with an opinion?
