Twits

Republicans feel vindicated, saying when you break the rules, you have to pay the price.

"Anyone who raises or spends $500,000 in illegal money outght to be fined every cent of that $500,000," says Shearer, "and actually, there ought to be a punitive phase."

A representative for Mark Baker, the Republican beat by Evans in 1998 and 2000, says he's taking the case to the FBI to pursue a criminal investigation. They also plan to go after the congressman with a civil suit as well.
They can't win at the ballot box, they can't win the battle of ideas and policies, they can't win public support. They can't win unless they drag their opponents into a money spending contest. They have more money to blow, but that's all they have. Twits.

The link in the post is to a WHBF story on their web site. I don't know how long it's been up.

Ed Tibbetts in the QC Times has a story Hud 50 mentions with more Republican B.S. at

The twits are actually calling for Evans to resign, showing how they take their ques from the national gang of morons. The Republican Party, raving hypocrits who on the one hand pose as macho tough guys and mock any sign of "political correctness" or "girl-like behavior", yet manage to get completely "outraged" over the most minor slights. Who're the real pussies?

She can read words off of a teleprompter. Some people get big bucks for that.

We here in Quincy consistently defeat the unfrozen caveman congressman. You may like his extreme liberalism up there in the quad Cities, but we would like some representation. He's as much a partsan hack as Durbin.

Baker was close in '98 then they redrew the lines so that would never happen again and they still had to cheat.

Dave, you're constantly showing what a vile person you are. Nice characterization of Evans.
And just how do you justify labeling him an "extreme liberal", other than that's what you've been taught to call anyone who's even slightly liberal?

C'mon, please sign up to be a weekly poster Dave.
That way you can say whatever you want, but you'd actually have to think about something rather than just reacting to my posts with simple-minded venom.

I'm serious. How about doing a guest post every Wednesday?
Let me know.

Or don't you really have anything to say? ;-)

The characterization of Evans, although harsh, has nothing to do with his fight against Parkinsons (sp). We right wing nuts here in Quincy have long refered to him as such. He's an ineffective partisan hack. Show me a vote that matters that indicates he is the slightest bit moderate. We have em too, and I'll call them the same. Your characterization of me being a vile person is unsubstatiated and hypocritical. See your recent picture posts on Cheney and Rice. I will be guest contributer, although I haven't nearly enough time to fill my own blog site with conservative wit and wisdom. You get Doctor Professor Badass to sign on, and I'm in.

I stand by what I say. And you still continue to not come up with a damn thing to back up your wild statements. Every single time you're challenged, you come back with "show me where... blah blah"
No, YOU back up your statements. You're the one that made them. Don't you stand behind them? You don't have anything to back them up, and so you resort to demanding that I provide your proof. I'd love to help you out with the heavy lifting, but no thanks.

And you have your own blog???!!!
Wow!
Let's see. You say you don't have time to write a short post here once a week. But yet seem to find a lot of time to hang out here.

Man, your blog must bore even you if you'd rather spend your time here.

I had no idea you had a blog Dave. I'll add a link to my blogroll.

I took the liberty of looking it over though. It's nice. I like the look. Looks like you're doing ok, though your traffic numbers so far are pretty dismal. Is Quincy a fairly small area? I'm sure they'll pick up. These things take time.

No doubt in the not to distant future, I'll get bored with this and end up hanging around on your blog. Or not.

I do appreciate that you're gracing us with your comments though. By all means, stick around.

I myself don't think I'll be spending a lot of time on your site. I know I'm not going to convert you to see things rationally, and I doubt I'll have much affect on the visitors to your place. And besides, in my spare time, I like to run this place. You'll forgive me if I don't visit your blog much.

And sorry to hear, that just like President Junior when he was called to answer questions about the failures around 9-11 and he wouldn't do it unless Uncle Dick was there to kick him under the table and do his talking for him, you can't appear all alone without Senor Badbreath holding your hand?
Sad. Especially for a he-man Republican.

I do enjoy spinning you koll aid drinkers. I'll testify by myself. I don't need Cheney. I just won't have time to resond to all you libs ganging up. I only thoght Badass could pick off a few of you. I don't need that fat bastard though. As far as Evans goes, his record on abortion is about as liberal as you can get. Against partial birth, even against unborn victims of violence act, lest he admit that there is something alive to injure. Aside from the abortion issue, against letting the states decide on the 10 Commandments, for death tax, against abolishing marriage penalty, against welfare reform. I'll do the lifting so as you don't hurt your 10 year old girl arms. He votes party line every time, except he was duped into voting for Patriot Act I, must not have had time to read it.

I'm not offended that you won't be spending alot of time in my blog. It's best to stay here with the choir where it's safe. It is boring here without the Badass and myself. Admit it. Otherwise it would be alot of:

" You sure are right someday, I know what you're saying texas queer, yeah that Bush sure is evil dope, we got it all figured out.....Blah, blah yada yada...

This from a guy with Rush Limbaugh as a major opinion leader of his party. Who's fans refer to themselves as "dittoheads" in honor of how they all are spoon-fed their opinions and follow along like lemmings.

What a maroon!

Name calling and unable to refute the facts, typical bleeding heart liberal. All opinion based only on emotion. Thanks goodness you won't be running the country any time soon.

I never claimed to be a dittohead, although your general name calling lets you off the hook in disproving anything the man says.
Go ahead try. You are even ignorant of what "ditto" means.
