Exhibits poor interpersonal skills

An East Moline man faces a felony battery charge that alleges he struck his friend with a roof jack while they were working on a roofing job together.

Daniel Steven Padilla, 43, of 1523 11th Ave., is charged in Rock Island County Circuit Court with aggravated battery.

The incident happened around 1 p.m., Aug. 28, at the defendant's residence, Sgt. Thomas Reagan of the East Moline police said.

Sgt. Reagan said the two men got into an argument while working on the roof. According to court records, Mr. Padilla is accused of striking the victim in the head with a roof jack.

Hmmm. "..he struck his friend with a roof jack..." I think that status probably changed about a millisecond afterwards.

Depends on what sort of guys these two are. There is the curious phenomena of two guys beating the living hell out of each other, only to later be hugging each other and professing their undying friendship as they spit out their teeth and laugh about the whole thing.
But the fact that charges were filed indicates this isn't one of those bizarre situations where a good fight between guys doesn't interfere with the friendship.

And I have no idea what a "roof jack" is, but something tells me that you don't want to get hit over the head with one.
