Republican Family Values, exhibit # 954,334
Three days after it was reported he was involved in a domestic dispute that triggered a 911 call from a 29-year-old woman in his Washington apartment, U.S. Rep. Don Sherwood apologized for causing his family and supporters "pain and embarrassment."It should be noted that the woman was not Sherwood's wife.
As the article later notes, "Sure-woody" also got near perfect ratings from Christian Right organizations for his "pro-family" voting record.
Roger Ailes, (not the fat oily one who began Fox News) is one of the funniest bloggers out there, and the best chroniclers of Republican hypocrisy (not that it's hard to find. You can hardly turn around without bumping into one). Ailes has more in his post.

Thanks! Another proof that when American voters say they like "moral values" they mean that they like a "good, protracted media-circus scandal."
