Your tax dollars at work
Deficit, schmeficit, this is important. Gotta get those Bush/Cheney staffers something to do.
This should be a national outrage no matter what side of the aisle you're on.
Cabinet departments paying reporters hundreds of thousands of your tax dollars to tout their programs without revealing that they're on the take, producing fake TV news reports using fake reporters who say nothing about the fact that they're hired propagandists, letting a gay prostitute using a fake name whose only journalistic training was a weekend seminar from some conservative outfit which cost $50 (including meals) into White House press briefings for over two years to toss softball questions, and now this.

When it comes to cutting government spending, conservatives are all for it as long as it's not their pet programs. Now that they proudly preside over the largest deficits in US history, they have one plan of action: switch the topic. They used to give a damn about deficits, but sadly for our children and grandchildren they have become both the majority party and the tax and spend and dig us deeper into debt party.
