Oooops. Deere relocation myth just misguided hysteria

From the Associated Press:
A company spokesman insists that Deere and Company is not considering moving its headquarters out of the Quad-Cities.

The assurance was given yesterday in a formal statement released by Deere spokesman Ken Golden, director of strategic public relations.
Golden says recent media speculation concerning the possible relocation of Deere headquarters is in error. He noted that Deere, which was established in 1837, has had its world headquarters in Moline for nearly 160 years. He says the speculation apparently came through the misunderstanding of comments made at Deere's Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Wednesday.

I believe nothing that corporate America tells me.

If it is in the best interest of Deere to leave then they will leave without notice.
