I won't say (and don't believe) that most Republicans are racist or sexist. I will say that most racists and sexists in this country tend to lean Republican (case in point this Allen douche. remember the sexist guy who ran in the GOP primary in IL-17?). There's enough racists and sexists in the GOP to make me be willing to wager any amount of money that Condi Rice will never, ever get the GOP nomination for president.
Similar attitudes towards non-mainstream religion within the GOP will keep Mitt Romney from coming out of the primary too. I've already seen jokes about his "special underwear" on conservative-leaning blogs/message boards.
And no, I don't think (if one exists) a hardcore bible-thumping fundie would stand a chance for the Democratic nomination either.
