Thanks Dope for reminding me what miserable failures the Democrats were in '04. Those of us in IL saw the drama play out in the hapless Iowa. The full field of Democrats didn't debate policy, didn't offer a vision for the future, didn't say why one Democrat was better than another. No. Instead the Democrats acted like spoiled children attempting to get the attention of Mommy Media by spewing the most lick-spittle invective against George Bush possible....and as we now know, that worked out really well for them. Sheesh! I read somewhere that Chuck Schumer said the 'o6 election would be run by Democrats as a referendum against GWB. Hey, the Democrats tried this is '02, and'04. Maybe the third time is a charm. It is possible that the Democrats will defeat George Bush in '08. Har!Har! What a bunch of losers! Without George Bush, the Democrats are/have NOTHING.
