Pat Robertson is a lunatic

If there actually were such a thing as devine retribution, Robertson would have been zapped into a charred pile of dust on an office chair live on TV by now.
Television evangelist Pat Robertson suggested Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine retribution for the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, which Robertson opposed.

"He was dividing God's land, and I would say, 'Woe unto any prime minister of Israel who takes a similar course to appease the [European Union], the United Nations or the United States of America,'" Robertson told viewers of his long-running television show, "The 700 Club."

"God says, 'This land belongs to me, and you'd better leave it alone,'" he said.

Robertson's show airs on the ABC Family cable network and claims about 1 million viewers daily.

Sharon, 77, clung to life in a Jerusalem hospital Thursday after surgery to treat a severe stroke, his doctors said.

I think the 700 club buys its time on ABC Family (I've never seen commercials). But ABC has to take at least some responsiblity for what it puts on the air. Maybe a Sinclair-style boycott of anyone who advertises on *any* ABC family show would help them get the message.

Between this and all the other smiting Pat's been doing on behalf of God lately, it makes me think that Sharon isn't the only one with an arterial flow problem.

Yes - perhaps Robertson should "up the meds" or something.....

How did he get the money he has? Stupid people mailing it in to him who are likely poor and should save the cash for groceries.

Keep Robertson's comments in your mind when he becomes ill or infirm - which could be anytime now.
