Pat lives west of the dividing line between the 71st and 72nd districts, thus he's in the 72nd.
To view a map I made showing a detailed view of where the dividing line between the districts runs through Moline, see this post.
As you will see, the dividing line follows I-74 until 27th St. where it then zigs and zags around until it meets up with 34th Street.
It then follows 34th St. with the exception of one strange little jog to the west to encompass one block which lies west of 34th, and then continues along 34th St. to the river.
