Cheryl halpern donated $319,250 to get a job that pays $157,550 a year? I suppose if she stays there four years, she'll double her money, but what happens if Bush gets impeached?

Hmmm You haven't been paying attention. As was explained in a few previous posts, Joe Albaugh (the guy with the weird flat-top hair) was Bush's campaign manager and crony whom Bush appointed as FEMA head. Albaugh knew that Bush was going to invade Iraq and got out of government to start a middle-man firm which would funnel fat contracts to business and corporations for everything under the sun in Iraq. He's made hundreds of millions on that, and is now doing the same thing to hook up companies with contracts in the aftermath of the hurricanes.

When Joe took off for greener pastures, as in green money, he recommended his old college roomie, Michael "Brownie" Brown to succeed him at FEMA.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Hope that clears it up.
