A poll poll
What question(s) would you like to see asked in a future poll?
Provide the list of answers the respondents would have to chose from as well if you could.
Fire away in comments, or better yet, send your ideas to me via e-mail. And don't be afraid to have some fun with it.

The only people who get mad at you Diehard are Mike Jacobs and Pat Vershoore - or anyone who got a free ride into public office.
Short list but growing daily.
Anyone see Mayor Mark Schwiebert cussing out a businessman at the Council meeting on WQAD this week?
He did not think his mic was on and he decided to make some nasty comments about a local real estate guy who asked why the sign ordinance was taking down the open house signs in RI.
The Mayor did not like what he said and called the guy something very crude and it was caught on tape. However, the local papers are not saying one word about it.
The Davenport Mayor, Charlie Brooke was front page news when he did the same thing a few years ago.... But the Iowa paper was the one who held the standard there.
I guess if you are friends with the owners of the local republicans and the newspapers, you get an automatic pass unless you actually do something printable that goes into the system.
So Mark Schwiebert can act as mean and stupidly arrogant as he wants and no one does anything to question it.
Anyone else see this???
What's the difference? Why would the Republicans run anyone against Jacobs?
He's good on all their issues and he hates unions.
He's a [conservative Democrat] R
lets take a poll about anything but Jacobs or Boland!
If you would like to see a poll about anything but the gruesome twosome, then make a suggestion. That's the purpose of this thread.
How about Mike Darrow running against Mike Jacobs? aAnd Boland against whoever for tresurer?
McNeil against Ahern in the medium weight division.
Darrow brings in the Rock island vote and he seems to have a lot of support to the south of the county.
I think we just ought to have a big cage match where we lock 'em all in a cage and see who's left standing at the end of the night.
The last guy left gets Senator, the second to the last gets his pick of Rep positions, etc.
And of course, just like in real life, creative cheating is both expected and encouraged.
I can see it now.
Is the dope the man that writes editorials for the Dispatch????hmmmm. Lucy- I think there's something funny going on!
Dope if you put em all in a cage and leave them to duke it out - my money is on O'Brien who looks like he could be a former golden glove!
Yes, I think Jacobs and O'Brien would be the odds on favorites if it were left to merely physical means... but as I say, just like in real life politics, this cage match would involve creative cheating and tactics.
For instance, maybe McNeil could sort of hide in the corner and help all of the combatants until they'd picked each other off, and then emerge to put away the last one left. Or Ahern could smuggle a folding chair into the ring. Or maybe Jacobs would tag off and let one of Madigans' big guys fight for him? The possibilities are endless.
