At Nortre Dame the trumpet section of the marching band does something very cool prior to home games before marching to the stadium.

You should sell the blog before it loses any more of it's value. You have beaten it down pretty badly and perhaps beyond the point of know return, but new leadership may be able to repair your damage and inattention to detail. At the very least the new Dope will do his or her job.
OK. I'll sell it.
To an anonymous person who can't spell. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Shut down this blog!
Sell this blog? What kind of idiot comment is that? Oh, yeah, now I remember who generates that garbage.
Huck,
Amazin' ain't it?
This moron has been sending comments like that for a full two years. And they still think they can "buy" a blog.
I guess when all else fails, they revert to trying to buy people off, and the only way they can figure out how to do that with me is to offer to 'buy' the blog.
I've got literally dozens of such comments all stored away.
It was insane the first time these cretins proposed it over two years ago and signaled that they'd be willing to pay many thousands of dollars for it, and it's just as insane now.

Why? Does it bother you? hee hee
Yep, I get the plan...buy you off now before you REALLY start writing good stuff about the campaigns in 2008. Hmmm. Who in the area might be worried about what you might write about them in '08?
Idiots. And small-time idiots at that!
You put out a "welcome mat" and invite people over to your home and then get upset when they talk? The most effective way to end your problem is to disconnect yourself and your out-dated computer from the Internet.
P.S. I read your post and noted that YOU were only one that said anything about selling your web page. Your desire to sell our blog looks more like a "shake down" than an offer!
Idiots -- both of u!
Anon 3:44
Listen, I've put up with morons like you for nearly three years, and I've frankly run out of patience.
Your gray matter has turned to mush, and your ability to think and reason has left the building a long time ago.
So now you say that someone else trying to buy me off is a "shakedown" on my part?
When someone else contacted me and specifically offered to pay me to hand over the blog????!!!!!!!
Do you REALLY want me to post the exact e-mails involved, complete with identifying e-mail address of the person that made a completely and utterly unsolicited offer to "buy" the blog?
E-mails proving that it wasn't myself who came up with the amazingly ludicrous and ridiculous notion of "selling" the blog, proving that this person asked me what I'd want to sell it for, showing that I shot them a figure that was so ridiculously high that I thought it would chase them off, then their response that they thought this sky-high figure sounded ok, and that they'd have their "people" get in touch to arrange the details? Then my response saying that the mere idea of "selling" the blog was idiotic and ridiculous, and that I wouldn't consider doing such a thing?
I don't think you want that.
I'd love to see that! That would be great entertainment.
If you want commenter's to quit commenting take down the "please enter" sign, Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Listen Einstein,
I don't want commenters to stop commenting. I just want juvenile mental cases like yourself to stop commenting.
It's really quite simple.

Hey Nooncat,
>you mispeled ced you free speech >hating libberul
Thanks for confirming my opinion that Republicans are sister-boinking hillbilly scooter-trash in flyover country.
Now, go enlighten my hero, Normal Bob Smith. He will have much more to tell you.
Blue Kansas
Hey!
They're playing the Moline Fight song at Notre Dame!!" We are Moliners, We're from Moline"
Thanks for sharing that. I loved it! What incredible spirit and talent.
You know, I'd known that local schools had... errr.. borrowed college fight songs and added their own lyrics, but I hadn't realized that Moline's was Nortre Dame's. I think Wilson Jr. High's is the Michigan fight song, not sure for John Deere.
And so nice to hear from a person who's not warped and bitter and appreciates the clip for what it is.
Yo, blue kansas,
Thanks for the thumbs-up. I was being parodistic. Of course, maybe you were too, and it went right past me.
As for Normal Bob Smith, I think he's a stitch. _Bob Smith USA_ is one hell (pun intended) of a documentary. The wankers who shut down his web site back in 2004 are the same nimrods who bellow and snivel and complain that the First Amendment gives them the right to endlessly scream their theology in people's ears and anyone who opts not to listen is guilty of censorship.
Cheers, cheers for old [insert school] High,
You bring the whiskey, I'll bring the rye...
Send the sophomores out for gin,
Don't let a sober senior in!
We never stumble, we never fall,
the mighty [insert nickname here] will rule over all...
Da da da da da da da-ah (forgot the words)
march on to vic-tor-y!
[ca. 1978]
Hee hee.... Sounds like an appropriate fight song for some school in "The Land of Drinkin'" as Illinois is known. Or is that "Land of Lincoln"?
Actually, I grew up a Hoosier but have always felt very much at home in Illinois.
