Extraction distraction

Just had this wrenched out of my jaw.

It really tickled.

Blogging may be light for the remainder of the day.

You and my wife both on the same day...if you're feeling anything like she is (wisdom tooth pulled), I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you.

And hopes for a speedy and uneventful recovery for your wife as well.

Take it easy tonight. Tomorrow we get to do that oh-so-tasty salt water rinse. Yum!

I'm sad that you are in pain. If it makes you feel any better, Truthout is reporting that Karl Rove has told the president that he expects to be indicted soon for his role in the leaking of Valerie Plame's name to the press.

My apologies if the picture was a bit graphic... but boy... was I ever feeling graphic when it was being yanked.

That molar was a hard working part of team Dope for many, many years. We'd been through some good meals and some bad ones together, and it had always ground up my food very well and without complaint.

I went to the dentist today expecting to have my teeth cleaned and ended up leaving with my tooth in a bag. So to me, it was a dear departed body part and not too icky.

I just found it interesting to look at. I probably should have at least included a gross-out warning though. Again, my apologies.

And senior editor, you're too kind. But who said anything about being in pain? Better living through chemistry and all that.

So I'm not doing too bad, though as most of you know from experience, you don't exactly feel like dancing.

I appreciate the kind words. Thanks.

You have my deepest sympathies, I've had two teeth pulled, I know what it's like.

The molars always feel so gigantic in my mouth and especially when they're trying to get them out, but when I see thier actual size, they look smaller than they should. Or is that just me?

At any rate, just enjoy the meds. :P
