Vote for your favorite "Ten Words"

Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack's "Heartland PAC" asked members to come up with ten words or less to represent what the Democratic Party should represent and stand for.

Thousands of submissions were sent in and they've distilled them into the following ten finalists.

-- by Bill of Stewartstown, Pa.

Effective, honest government, serving the needs of all its citizens
-- by Matt of O’Fallon, Mo.

Working for millions of people, not millions of dollars.
-- by Matt of Santa Monica, Calif.

The Democrats highest ideal: Help people achieve their full potential.
-- by Gary of Tulsa, Okla.

Equal opportunities, better lives, and honest government for all Americans.
-- by Rob of Decorah, Ia.

The Democratic Party- Tackling problems and finding practical solutions.
-- by Don of Letts, Ia.

Government led by people who believe good government is possible.
-- by Cathy of Columbus, Ohio

Common sense for the common good.
-- by Jason of Chicago, Ill., Brenda of Wakefield, R.I., and Robert of Timonium, Md.

The Democratic Party: People are our only 'Special Interest.'
-- by Stacy of Iverness, Fla.

A Strong Nation and Economy through Fairness, Reason, and Community.
-- by Drew of Ames, Ia.

Which one(s) do you think is best and why?

How about this: Iowa: More Boring Than Missouri But Less Corrupt Than Illinois.
I think I smell a winner!

Not bad, but this isn't about Iowa, it's about the national Dems.

Sorry Dope. As I have written in emails, I have problems with TID disconnecting my internet. So what I have to do is scroll down the post really fast and get into the comment section before the connection is broken. On this post, I just saw "Vilsack" and assumed it was an Iowa thing.
But no matter. How about this: Give us all your money because we know what's best.
Works for me.

I'm a National Security Guy, so I like Drew from Ames best. It is very hard to say that because I'm also an Iowa City guy and dislike attributing anything useful to the home of Moo U.

Nonetheless, Good Job, Drew.
