Aren't there three candidates for the third district appellate court on the democratic ticket?

You forgot to mention the hosts of the Lance Peterson event in Rock Island County ... they include LuAnn Kerry, RI County Treasurer; Lisa Bierman, RI County Circuit Clerk; Diana Robinson, RI County Auditor, Arthur Winstein, Phil Hare, State Rep. Pat Verschoore and State Sen. Mike Jacobs.

Does Lance really need Quad City money when he has already raised $100,000.00?

The 3rd Appellate race is 21 counties and three major media markets (Peoria, QC and Will County). Unfortunately, campaigns like these are expensive. Whomever is fortunate enough to win the primary among the Democrats, it's going to take another $100-$200,000 to win in the general. This is a tough district. Lance Peterson is proving he's capable of the tough work and generating a broad range of support throughout the district.
That's a good thing.

check the report, his support comes from labor, attorneys and friends in Morris and Joliet. The QC is keeping the check book closed.

The East may be Lance Peterson's natural base, since he's been an associate circuit judge there. But he's picked up some solid backers in Peoria, including Peoria State's Atty Kevin Lyons, and some solid supporters in the QCs including Congressman Lane Evans, Rep. Pat Verschoore, Rep. Frank Mautino, several women office holders in Rock Island County and 90% of the labor unions throughout the 21-county district.

That comes from hard, hard work.
And that is the type of work ethic our nominee will need to beat the GOP in November. The right-wing is standing ready to dump tens of thousands to beat us.

If the QCs is keeping the checkbook closed, why is the QC hosting a fundraiser for Lance Peterson in 48 hours at O'Melias?

Blanket statements like that don't wash, but good try.

The real key is keeping these judicial candidates as upbeat and positive as possible. Lance Peterson praises his Democratic opponents everywhere he goes. He promises to support his opponents if they should win the primary.

I am calling on all candidates to run the most positive campaigns as possible, because unity is absolutely essential to beat the GOP in November.

I don't care about who's raising money, I just want our Democratic nominee to win in November. I just want our candidates to stay positive toward each other. We have to stay united as Democrats.

If anyone out there heres that any of these candidates are criticizing one another, please report immediately to the DOPE with the specific example and candidate. And shame on them!
