Go nuts

Not much news out there today, other than the announcement that the local cops are going to be thick as mollasses during and after the SuperBowl, looking to rake in a big bonanza in DUIs. The state has given grants to pay for the cop's overtime. Make sure you don't wear too much cologne or they'll probably haul you in.

My advise? If you're going to a Super Bowl party, make sure it's within 100 ft of your house, and even then, when you're ready to head back home, make sure the coast is clear.

I'm just damn glad they weren't doing dragnets like this when the Bears won it in '86 (and I also won a large pool). That was a night to remember. I've been trying to do so ever since. I had a great time, at least so I'm told.

I've got something brewing for later this evening, but in the meantime, have at it.
