I think Headusher and The Dope need to sit down and work out their differences. Take a deep breath folks.

And for what? What is it that HeadUsher thinks I've done that is sooooooo terrible that he'd absolutely loose his marbles?

This from the person who has single-handedly screwed up the entire blog by posting insane off-topic rants on every about six different posts. Good one.
And one more thing. I'm going to leave most of this infantile crap up for the rest of the night. Just so people can see it with their own eyes. But then I think I'll just get rid of it all. It's disgusting.
Usher is still not finding anything original to say on his own. He still has to borrow other folks' quotes.

HeadUsher, you're sadly misinformed. Sure, we all realize that you have the unfortunate habit of trying to attack and destroy anyone who you feel may be a threat. Apparently, that's how your gang does business. Well, it worked for the mafia, and it's working for the national Republicans, I guess you can't be blamed for following their lead.
But what you don't realize is that this is not your father's game anymore.
You can't intimidate, buy off, threaten, or bully people into shutting up.
As a matter of fact, I don't recall Denny Jacobs EVER being afraid of anyone saying anything negative about him. He always handled it with style, simply addressing the issue bluntly and honestly and moving forward.
Where is all this fear and loathing coming from? Not to mention the rampant and out of control paranoia?
Breath into a paper sack for a while and calm down. Then realize this:
I, The Inside Dope, have never directly attacked Sen. Mike Jacobs.
A check of my posts and comments will show anyone that I've never taken a position regarding Jacobs personally. As a matter of fact, I've called for people to give him a break and to wait and see. I've pointed out that it's not his fault personally that he gained his high position by appointment.
I have expressed my displeasure at the way the races are rigged to avoid primary challenges. If you want to go at me for that, have at it.
Otherwise, you're barking at the moon. The only negative responses I've had were all entirely and totally in response to the comments of HeadUsher, and recently, to his supposed anonymous syncophants.
It's not Jacobs that pisses me off. It's YOU, HEADUSHER, and your complete lack of couth, humility, proportion, and reality.
THAT'S what I've been responding to.
If you have a problem with that and feel the need to litter and demean this blog with your rants, I can't stop you. (though I'm on the verge of just deleting everything you say.)
I want this to be a place where people can discuss the issues which are put forth, and yes, there are going to be some not so pretty opinions expressed.
If you disagree with them, then please post your reasons with backup to support it. Keep it serious, if possible.
And if you don't or can't do that, then simply ignore the commenters you feel are out of bounds.
When you respond in such an aggressive way, you're only pouring gasoline on the fire.
And that means you can't then come here and whine and bitch about how the subject of Jacobs dominates things around here. YOU are the one who ensures that through your stupid responses, not me.
And if all your jabs and attacks are only frivolous jokes, then they're not too funny.
Sure, humor has a place here, but you have to be clear about it. Subtle nuances don't translate well in print.
But the fact remains that the idea behind this blog is to facilitate and encourage thoughtful discussion and sharing of ideas and information.
And I don't take kindly to people who treat it as if it's some sort of juvenile sandbox to play in.
And that applies to everyone.

PS. I haven't interjected myself into anything, HU, much less a "frey" (it's "fray", as I tried to kindly let you know earlier. Don't you pay attention?)
I simply run a blog you can't dominate and control and I do so anonymously. I don't see anything wrong with that. Is that against the law?
The fact remains that you're free to respond to anything written here either by myself or others, and you've not only taken advantage of that, you've abused the priviledge.
So tell me how it's unfair somehow?

I have a theory that will be hard to disprove. I think Mike Boland is actually Headusher. Why? It's very Karl Rove-ish and very cynical. Since some of the postings of Headusher are undermining Sen. Mike Jacobs by being so over the top and arrogant, I think they're actually coming from Mike Boland. That's Boland's way of getting even for not getting the appointment. ANy takers on this theory?

The truth is maybesomeday is jealous he isn't Senator Mike Jacobs. It must be hard to be so envious of another person and not be able to do anything about it but cry!
