We shall see. Wish there were some way I could take bets on this one.

The word is that Boland had a meeting with the several people including Speak Madigan to persuade him not to run for a state wide office because of the good hold he has on his seat.

I maintain if Judy jumps, Mike runs for Treasurer.

He is seen all the time outside his district clearly campaigning - pissing other seated elected officials off since he does not give any courtesy calls that he's coming to "visit" in their districts. All the while bringing his wife or staff to help and wearing his neon yellow "mike" shirt. HE wants to be noticed and he is always working/campaigning.

He's the only politician I see walking and dropping lit outside his district on weekdays when everyone else is out playing golf.

The Jacobs family has always underestimated Mike Boland.

If Rep. Boland is going back to his seat, why did he tell folks in Bettendorf this weekend that he was gearing up for the Senate run? Even the Iowan's are being told that this pass-down to Mikey Lite Jacobs should not stand. Go for it Mike.

oh yeah, did you see Rep. Boland win the downleft poll for Treas?
Rep. Boland has many options open to him...

None and others... I point out that I'm not suggesting that Boland isn't capable of mounting a run for Senate or Treasurer, or making any comment on his odds of success if he did. I'm just saying that he'll likely run for 71st rep again.
That's my prediction and I'm sticking to it.

I think he wont be able to stop himself. He's got kind of wild looking eyes.
If he had been a rational thinker he probably never would have run for the legislature.
It helps to be a little crazy in this buisness!
