Jacobs recovering in hospital
The Dispatch/Argus picks up the story reported here yesterday.
Former state senator Denny Jacobs was recovering at a Springfield hospital Tuesday after collapsing Monday night outside a capital city restaurant.
Jacobs, who had stepped outside the restaurant to get a breath of fresh air, appeared pale and was breathing heavily. When someone went back out to check on him, he was lying unconscious on the ground, said his son, Sen. Mike Jacobs, D-East Moline.
At a doctor's urging, Denny Jacobs checked himself into St. John's Hospital on Monday night. He was to remain in the hospital Tuesday night.
"At this time, he's undergoing a battery of tests, and we're hoping and praying that Denny's back on his feet soon," said Mike Jacobs, adding his father, who had been diagnosed previously with a heart murmur, seemed to be feeling better.
By late Tuesday, it appeared his father's collapse might have been caused by a reaction to medicines he was taking, Mike Jacobs said.
Mike Jacobs said his father was lucky he collapsed where people would find him rather than being at home or alone.
Here's hoping Denny is up and about soon.

exactly,,,, what does that mean???
Our friend anonymous is what they call an "idiot savant". He's really quite brilliant in some ways, but otherwise considered mentally challenged. The trick is to decipher his enigmatic comments to unearth the wisdom within.
I have no freaking idea what he means.

I heard aboutit on Capital Fax first
CAPITOL FAX broke this story, probably because Denny's hospitalization occurred in the Capitol City.
The Capitol Fax had an item saying that Jacobs was in the hospital with no further information.
Last I looked, there still isn't any further info there.
The Dope did not say he "broke" the story. Only that it was reported here yesterday. This was the first place to report anything beyond that he was hospitalized.
It's at times like these when I read some of the anonymites comments and am despairing for the future of humanity that one of my favorite poems comes to mind,
