In what would undoubtedly be a boon to area residents, Port Byron Mayor Don Johnson reports that a developer may opt to open a grocery store rather than turn the building into condos as planned.

Porter; you have sunk to a new low. Move back to the big city buddy. You are writing about grocey store ribbon cuttings. The mighty have fallen.
Anonymous sure woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.
Well, some folks apparently think it's very clever to keep whipping a dead horse, and one that's incredibly lame, tired, tedious, dull, utterly goofy, and wrong on so many levels besides.
Ah well. I just feel sorry for Mr. McNeil, as he has to deal with knuckledraggers like this who persist in thinking he does this blog.
If "anonymous" and those like actually knew McNeil, they'd have figured it out by now.
It's getting rather sad, actually.
Gump, I'm damn pleased to meet you.
I can't let this slide. Stupidity numero uno: Anon above told McNeil to move back to the "big city". He moved here from Springfield, which is a fraction of the size of the Quad Cities. And "grocey"? What's that? Sounds like something a tyke would say when he made a boom-boom.
And I'm certain that these lame-os that persist in posting this crap have never even read the blog. If they had, they'd realize how idiotic they sound.
