At this time so dominated by primary coverage that one might wonder if the Iraq conflict was over, it can prove instructive to remind ourselves just how we got into this mess.

We defeated Nazi Germany and Japan in about 4 years, just to put this never ending conflict into perspective.
ReplyDeleteAh, memories, memories...funny how a lot of concerned citizens weren't too sure about the "mushroom cloud", etc, but....'well they have access to intelligence that we don't, so they must know what they're doing!'....oh well ....Dubya shrugged his shoulders and said 'ah..we got sum bad intel...huh huh...uh...weren't our fault, see? Nuff said'
