What is it?
Anonymous (yawn) got this dead on. It's a maple leaf taken in the rain. I have got to make them harder in the future.
Here's the picture from which it was cropped. Click it to view larger.

A fallen tree leaf, covered in what appears to be rain water.
THIS IS A BEUTIFULL WATER LILLIE
I have GOT to start making these harder. I must be selling my readers short.
Anon 22:04 got it smack dab correct.
It's a maple leaf in the rain.
I've posted the original picture which this was cropped.
This was a real mystery until you clear it up Dope. I can't belive anyone thought you were taking more pictures of leaves?
This is just the type of stuff that is going to rebuild our failing blog. More nature photos are needed. Go outside right now an take a picture of the sky.
I might do that if I get a chance. Taking a few minutes to notice and appreciate the beauty around you is a healthy thing I think.
Of course, with your head so firmly impacted up your lower intestine, your view isn't quite as enjoyable. Pity.
