Dave, meet Goliath, Pt. II

John Beydler is up on the campaign finance story at "The Passing Parade" and notes that the same sort of massive cash advantage applies to the Boland vs. Haring matchup as well.

Has the enormous focus on cash and the deck being stacked by and for incumbents made elections a charade of democracy?

  1. Found an interesting article about one of Mikey's largest contributors Rod Aycox.

  2. I notice that most of Mike Bolands money comes from out of his district. I want a Rep that isn't tied to areas outside his own district.

  3. most of Mike's money come from organized labor - while the headquarters of a labor local may be outside Boland's legislative district - it's still an excellent indication he's supporting what's right for working men and women

  4. While local bloggers are obsessed with the trash talk going on in the State Senate race, the most under reported race in this region by far is the 71st. The invisible candidacy of Steve Haring should be the number one topic of bloggers. I don't get it. I don't get the obsession with Rumler-Jacobs.

  5. Hey thanks. You just wrote the entire story on the 71st.

Guess that takes care of that.

Don't be stupid. Really, don't be stupid.
Stop. Reread your comment. Does it make sense?
Are you making something up out of thin air in order to attack me with it? Reading something into a post that's clearly not there or even implied?
Then don't bother posting. For that matter, if that's the case, don't bother coming back.
