Who got money from Abramoff?

Open Secrets provides summaries of where the money involved in the Jack Abramoff scandal went and the scale is enormous.

Abramoff or the PACs he controlled donated a total of $4,434,761.00 since 1999.

Here's a list of politicians and PACs to which Abramoff and his wife donated.
They donated $202,253.00 in the last two election cycles.

Note that out of the 112 politicians and PACS the Abramoff's personally donated to, EVERY DIME went to Republicans. After all, like Rove and other crooks before him, Abramoff was head of the College Republicans at one time, which seems to have been a training ground for criminal behavior. (see post above)

Jerry Weller of IL got $500, and Grandpa Chuck Grassley of Iowa got the maximum $2000 (which, he's announced, he's not giving up.)

Look over the list yourself.

Also of interest is the list of donations by amount received from all of Abramoff's interests, including his Indian PACs.

Here you can see the list sorted by amount and by Rs and Ds.

314 receipients were beneficiaries of Abramoff money in one way or another.
The largest recepients of course are the respective congressional and senatorial campaign committee's of the parties, with slightly higher amounts going to the Republican campaign committees than Democratic.

The largest individual Dem receipient, intrestingly enough, is Patrick Kennedy, D-RI, who receieved $42,500. But even he ranks behind 7 individual Republican recepients, including high money leader and loathsome showboat, J.D. Hayworth, R-AZ, who wins the tainted cash derby with a total of $101,620.

Iowa Sen. Harkin is top area recepient, with $15,500 of total donations. Last I heard, Harkin had not yet announced whether he would join the rush to return the funds.

Chuck Grassley got a total of $14,000, Illinois Republicans Phil Crane, Don Manzullo and David Phelps received $9,750, $3,000, and $1,000 respectively and Iowa Republican Jim Nussle received $3,000 as well.

Dick Durbin got $8,000, and Lane Evans was one of 45 who received $2,000.
