Andrea Zinga throws hat into the ring

On the last day possible to file candidacy petitions, Andrea Zinga has jumped into the 17th congressional district race. She faces fundamentalist real estate developer Jim Mowen of Moline and Aledo sports agent, jack-of-all-trades Brian "Gilligan" Gilliland in the Republican primary to challenge Rep. Lane Evans.

  1. Was I the only one that noticed that Andrea Zinga was the only candidate on the ballot last election that listed their middle name? What is Andrea Zinga's middle name you ask? "Lane"

I thought it was such a BS move, couldn't believe that I didn't hear anything about it through the press.

  2. Yeah, she is trying it as a slogan or something stupid - I saw it last time -- like "time to change lanes" or something ridiculous like her entire campaign platform. No one will be interested in her!! She may not even win the primary and end up knocked out of contention.

  3. Zinga is a dingbat!
    Gilligan is a fool,
Evans - can't blame anyone anymore,
    because he thinks he's cool.
since he got caught with his hand in the big money drawer,
theres no friggin way I'd trust him some more!
Mowen has religion, but if he has a plan.
Mowen may just get my vote
because we ain't got no other choice man!

  4. Spoken like a true Republican anon with the bad poetry.

The three Rubs running against Lane are pretty lame...all of em. Which fool will pick on your Republican ballot? Only you will know..... Lovey, where is my hat and wallstreet journal?

Don't be stupid. Really, don't be stupid.
Stop. Reread your comment. Does it make sense?
Are you making something up out of thin air in order to attack me with it? Reading something into a post that's clearly not there or even implied?
Then don't bother posting. For that matter, if that's the case, don't bother coming back.
