Wilson files for recount in E. Moline 1st Ward contest

Connie Corcoran Wilson has filed a petition with the Rock Island County Circuit Court last week, naming her former opponent, Rock Island County Clerk Richard "Dick" Leibovitz and East Moline's canvassing board as defendants.
In her petition, Ms. Wilson claims some ballots should not have been counted because those voters did not mark their choices correctly.

She's also contesting some absentee ballots, saying they're invalid because the voters may not live at the 1st Ward addresses listed.
