Breaking news... RI attorney busted for cocaine trafficking

Rock Island attorney Jeff Nepple has been charged with three federal charges for cocaine distribution, including conspiracy to distribute cocaine, distribution and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and attempting to distribute and possess with intent to distribute cocaine.

The crimes allegedly took place on February 2, 4, and 7th.

-->UPDATE: Mr. Nepple apparently was dealing in quantities of multiple ounces of cocaine and was the victim of an informant, at one point wearing a wire. Looks like his life has just changed in a big way.

One wonders if this case will end up involving any others in our fine legal community.
