Open Mouth, Insert Bus

The brilliant title above is taken from the Quad Cities Times editorial on Sen. Jacobs "Rosa Parks moment".
While flags around the Quad-Cities have been flying at half-mast this week to honor the passing of Rosa Parks, Illinois Sen. Mike Jacobs’ ego has been flapping at full mast.

The Peoria Journal-Star noticed too. (scroll halfway down column)

  1. Jacobs will take a hit over this, and then move on. As I've said before, consider it on-the-job training.
It could be a good thing.

  2. Rumler worked for Steny Hoyer in DC. If you don't know, Hoyer is the second highest ranking Democrat in Congress. Seems like pretty good experience to me. More impressive than Mike's "downstate liason to Jesse White", which he did from his house.

Experience isn't something that Jacobs should base his campaign around.

Don't be stupid. Really, don't be stupid.
Stop. Reread your comment. Does it make sense?
Are you making something up out of thin air in order to attack me with it? Reading something into a post that's clearly not there or even implied?
Then don't bother posting. For that matter, if that's the case, don't bother coming back.
