TBogg has a post which stands out among his routinely excellent (and funny) work. It starts off with a recounting of Ben Stein's attempt to villify Mark Felt, but concludes with something that should be posted on every wall across the country. Read it here.

  1. Well put. I'd add the stunning images and events of Kent State to your list of media events that served to turn the country against the war as well.

Oddly enough, when I was writing a weekly piece for a progressive national website, one of my readers happened to be going to Kent State and was at the protest march when the tragedy happened. I got to correspond with her about it, and I can't imagine witnessing your own government murdering one of your classmates.
What would be the reaction if something like that happened today?

Don't be stupid. Really, don't be stupid.
Stop. Reread your comment. Does it make sense?
Are you making something up out of thin air in order to attack me with it? Reading something into a post that's clearly not there or even implied?
Then don't bother posting. For that matter, if that's the case, don't bother coming back.
