As brought to my attention by an alert Dopester, Rich Miller at the Capitol Fax Blog is reporting that former Senator
Denny Jacobs is in the hospital. No further details are reported, but he says he will post further details later. We all hope that Denny is ok.
(The Dope was prevented from posting this earlier, due to Blogger again running slower than molasses in January. If any readers have any further info, please share it with us.)
*UPDATE* A very alert and helpful Dopester has reported that apparently Denny has suffered a mild heart attack and will be kept in the hospital overnight for observation. Further details as they appear.
*UPDATE 2* Another alert Dopester reports that no evidence of a heart attack was found, and speculation is that Jacob's hospitalization may be due to reaction to some prescription medications. He is expected to be released in the morning.
As a supporter of Denny Jacobs though many years I will pray for him. Keep us posted Dope.

the scoop is denny had a mild heart attack or other ailment, they're keeping him overnight in a springfield hospital for observation but big lifestyle changes are on the way

Reports of a mild heart attack are not accurate. Sources confirm there was no heart attack, but perhaps a problem with the medication former Sen. Jacobs was taking at the time. He should be released in the morning.
